Five Minute Margherita Pizza


Adapted from Kenji Lopez Alt’s “Serious Eats” blog.

Ingredients:

  • Flour tortilla
  • Crushed San Marzano canned tomatoes
  • Shredded low-moisture mozzarella
  • Basil
  • Optional: Garlic powder and oregano

Heat up a few tbsp oil in a cast iron skillet on medium-low.

Crisp both sides of the tortilla.

Spoon tomato sauce to the edges and top with an even layer of cheese.

Add shredded basil and close the cover so that the cheese can melt.

Sprinkle additional flavorings as desired.
